Introducing the MN Fit-out at Adelaide Hills Panel Works đź› 

MN delivered an in-ground Full Downdraft Spray Booth, Paint Mix Room and a custom Preparation Bay.

Adelaide Hills Panel Works has built a strong reputation for quality repairs and genuine care for every vehicle that comes through the door.

With restrictive roof height on-site, the team used an MN floor-mounted machinery unit to make the fit-out work within the available space.

MN fit the equipment to the site, not the site to the equipment.

Inlet filters play a major role in keeping your spray booth performing the way it should.

They help control the air entering the booth and support a cleaner, more consistent spray environment.

When filters are overdue for replacement, contaminants can start to affect the finish, leading to defects, rework, buffing, and wasted time.

Overdue inlet filters can also restrict airflow through the booth. This puts extra load on your exhaust fan and machinery, making the system work harder than it should and reducing the life of your equipment.

Clean, regularly changed filters help maintain correct airflow, protect your booth, and give your painters the best chance at a quality finish.

If your inlet filters look like this, it’s time to change them.

Built for Heavy Haulage — Taylor Truck Repairs 🚛

Taylor Truck Repairs needed a fitout that could handle oversized repair work without compromising efficiency across the rest of the shop.

MN delivered a 15.8m Semi Downdraft Truck Booth, measuring 6m wide and 5m high, alongside an automotive-size Semi Downdraft Booth for parts and smaller-scale repairs.

This gives the team a dedicated space for trucks, while the parts booth keeps smaller work moving without holding up the main truck booth.

The paint mix room was designed to connect directly to both booths, creating a practical workflow across the facility.

With all machinery roof-mounted to maximise floor space, this setup gives the Taylor Trucks team the room, flexibility and airflow performance needed to keep work moving.

Behind every great MN booth is a smart layout. 🤓

At Drive Group Dandenong, the paint mix room and clean room combination was built to suit the site and make the most of the space available.

Positioned behind the existing EPS panel dividing wall, MN utilised the current structure to create a practical paint preparation area with direct access into the spray booths.

The paint mix room features a premium 3-stage ventilated paint mix bench, while the adjoining clean room is fitted with a spray out box, gun wash allowance and a premium glass entry door.

A smart use of the existing building, creating a premium paint preparation setup without wasting valuable floor space.

The Drive Group Dandenong facility showcases the next step in MN spray booth functionality. 🤠

Side by side MN Full Downdraft spray booths, each fitted with internal pneumatic ramps and our updated push-button ramp controller.

The new controller makes ramp operation simple and controlled, while helping prevent over-inflation of the airbags. This reduces the chance of damage, limits unnecessary downtime and keeps the booth working as it should.

Internal pneumatic ramps are a major advantage in modern paint facilities, saving over 2 metres of valuable floor space in front of each booth by keeping the ramp system inside the booth cabin.

Combined with full downdraft airflow, roof-mounted machinery and a purpose-built layout, the Dandenong facility is designed to give Drive Group a practical, efficient and premium refinishing setup.

This installation features:
- Side-by-side MN Full Downdraft spray booths with internal pneumatic ramps
- Dual interconnecting preparation bays
- Paint mix room and clean room combination

The MN team utilised the existing EPS panel dividing wall to maximise the available space, creating an efficient layout with the paint mix room and clean room positioned behind the facility.
