Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and experienced automotive spare parts salesperson to join our team, with a focus on on-the-road sales to expand our trade customer base. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive parts, excellent communication skills, and a passion for building relationships with customers.
Responsibilities:
Conduct on-the-road sales visits to automotive workshops, garages, and dealerships to promote our products and services.
Build and maintain strong relationships with trade customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
Assist customers in identifying and selecting the appropriate automotive spare parts for their business requirements.
Provide expert advice and recommendations on product selection and compatibility.
Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, both on-site and through remote ordering systems.
Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and product knowledge to effectively communicate with customers.
Requirements:
Previous experience in automotive spare parts sales, with a focus on on-the-road sales and trade customers.
Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse customer base.
Proven track record of meeting sales targets and building customer relationships.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Proficiency in using computerized inventory and point-of-sale systems.
