Westmec Mechanical Maintenance is looking to employ a competent, organised, happy, and bubbly personality to take care of our front-of-house.

We are seeking a self-motivated, hardworking individual who is dedicated to excellent customer service, in our fast-paced mechanical workshop. The role requires this person to undertake a variety of office support tasks, be comfortable discussing mechanical terms with customers and suppliers and be confident with dealing with accounts data entry and reconciliation processes.

The applicant must be available to work between the hours of 8:30am and 5:00pm, Monday to Friday (hours and days can be flexible) and be committed to a career in the automotive industry. While mechanical experience is not needed, a basic understanding of a vehicle's componentry is an advantage. On-the-job training will be provided, if you have the right attitude and are eager to learn, you will go far in this position - and within our company.

Responsibilities include but not limited to;
- Answer calls, take bookings, organise and co-ordinate new and existing jobs
- Order parts. Liaise with customers, suppliers and colleagues to maintain workflow
- Update and maintain clients service/defects registers
- Reconcile Accounts and EOM reports/statements
- Monitor and maintain stocked items as required
- Handle basic office tasks
- Reply to customers on email and social media. Create marketing material for social media

Our business is growing rapidly and we have an opportunity for an experienced and trade qualified HD Mechanic to join our team in Forrestdale.

Our ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience with efficient servicing and maintenance of all fleet - mainly consisting of Rigid Trucks, Earthmoving Equipment and Light Vehicles.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
O Relevant Australian recognised Trade Qualification
o Current Australian HR Class Drivers License (MC License advantageous)
o Experience in maintenance and fault finding of all fleet – mainly consisting of Prime mover, Rigid Trucks and Light Vehicles and trailing fleet
o Strong focus on personal and team safety
o The ability to work competently and autonomously in a fast paced and dynamic team environment and prioritise work in order to meet operational requirements
o Available to work weekends

This is a full-time, permanent role based in our Forrestdale Workshop. A fully equip breakdown vehicle will be supplied to the correct confidant.

o Base salary starting from $24 p/h to $48 pending experience + Superannuation
