Fresh off the laser today – a 700mm diameter sprocket cut from 20mm HA350 high-strength steel.

The engraving shown is only 1-2mm high on an oval scallop measuring approximately 7mm x 3mm, proving just how much detail can be achieved with fibre laser marking.

🔥 Custom Stainless Done Right 🔥

This one’s a tidy bit of work from the team — a laser cut & folded stainless steel sink, all knocked out in-house.
Looks simple sitting there… but don’t be fooled.
This job took 15 separate folds and a proper game plan to get the order right. Get one fold wrong and suddenly you’ve made modern art instead of a sink 😅
Big shoutout to Steve, who’s been with us just under 12 months.
In that time he’s gone from learning the ropes to handling jobs like this — where accuracy, sequencing, and experience actually matter (not just “send it and hope”).
This is exactly the kind of work where planning meets skill — and when it comes together first go, it’s a good day in the shed.

🔥 Custom Laser Etched Rocker Covers 🔥

These gloss black powder coated rocker covers came to us ready for the final touch — and we’ve etched the PPM – Proven Performance Motors logo straight through the coating for that crisp, high-contrast finish.

No stickers.
No peeling.
Just clean, permanent engraving that’ll outlast the engine it bolts onto.

Big fan of how these turned out — simple, tough, and exactly how it should look under the bonnet.

Always good to see the finished product out in the wild 👌

Customer dropped in to show us how this headboard turned out after install… and safe to say it came up mint.

Cut from 3mm aluminium, designed and laser cut in-house, then finished off with powdercoat and fit-up.

Nice clean look, solid build, and practical touches like the D-ring tie points ready to go.

We work closely with local fabricators and businesses to supply parts like this, ready for finishing and install.

Nothing better than seeing it all come together 👍

Just finished a couple of custom headboards, designed and cut right here at Diverse Laser.

We’re on the lookout for a new team member to join us at Diverse Laser!

We need someone to help run our 3KW Fibre Laser and Brake Press (sheet metal bender). No experience? No worries — we’ll provide training to the right person. You just need to be keen to learn, have a good work ethic, and enjoy hands-on work.

🧰 The job includes:
Helping run our laser cutter and brake press

Learning how to read job drawings and prepare jobs

Getting involved in all areas of the workshop over time

Working with a small, friendly team

✅ What we’re looking for:
Someone reliable and switched on

Forklift licence is a must — but we’re happy to help the right person get one if needed

Interest in metalwork, manufacturing, or just making things

Positive attitude and willingness to learn

This is a great opportunity to get into the trade and grow your skills in a supportive environment.
