When we get customer photos of their install its always great.
Below are one of our latest releases which is for the GMC 2500 with the LP5 Duramax motor.
Our task was simple when asked to make these, make something that rivals everything else on the market and make sure you get bang for your buck.
So we started straight off with 90mm stainless pipe, laser welding and 5 ply hand roller silicon hose joiners and finished off with Billet Aluminium ends and held together with some of the strongest hose clamps we could find, the 16mm Tridon Constant tension clamps.

Welcome to our Monday's....

A rush of orders from people with broken down cars
Just remember that intercooler hoses are a wear part and should be routinely inspected. They do age, they get heat affected and are heavily affected by blowby in common rail motors which routinely causes early failure.

Oh, and also a customers Italian Greyhound keeping its feet off the dewy grass.... Spoilt little fella... At least he's enjoying our backpack cooler bag.

Launching our first set of intercooler pipes and hoses for the 'American Utes' and we've gone all out.
We've gone with the new Duramax L5P 6.6 from the Chev Silverado available in the 2500 and 3500.
Unlike other big brands, while theyre charging top dollar for exhaust pipe, we're using stainless finished in a stunning Black texture coat.
We've replaced press tin couplings with Billet Aluminium CNC machined to allow for maximum flow.
Where the factory pipes are 2 1/2', ours are a full 3 1/2 allowing for 30% extra volume and flow.
This will definitely not be the first of the American Trucks we start working with and we're planning on expanding into other brands and intakes. So be sure to like and follow us to keep up to date with our releases
And of course, we couldn't do anything in the workshop without our best helper(at times hindrance) showing the true size of these pipes

Over the weekend we've been doing some serious product testing.
What we can say for sure is that we've tested our all New Backpack/Chair/Cooler bag and its Bathurst 12 hour proof.
Each backpack(bar 1) had at least 3 days of hydration stored in them and with the help an icebrick, can easily hold 9 "hydration drinks" at a very consumable temperature.
Although you may struggle to lay back enough to sleep on after rehydrating, other means will become apparent.

But instead of selling them, we'll be sending them out to anyone who's order is over $345
Rumours are, similar bags were for sale at the Race for $50.
And for the hell of it, we'll also through in a keyring 10mm ratchet aswell

NP300 Hose clips

100% Australian made just for us! We love working with other local manufacturers and its great to get a tour and actually shown how they're made.

Made from 2mm stainless wire, these springs are started with a machined and finished by hand arpund a die to get the right radius.

These are in the testing phase with numerous tuned Navara NP300's so they can give us some feedback.

Once we get their feedback we'll be happy to share what they say, both good and bad and we'll see what we have to change.

And watch this space as we'll be having many more springs made to suit other vehicles as we're over the moon with how these feel and how tight they bite in.

Navara NP300 Throttle body connection pipe blow out

As we said before Christmas, please dont let a blown hose or pipe ruin your holiday....

Our friends from Southern Cross Fabworks were on their way back from a trip from Southern NSW back to Sunny QLD when they had a little issue, the boost sensor blew out of the plastic pipe. Fortunately with their mechanical mastery, and a little plastic welding, zip ties and race tape, they limped a further 400km to us towing a trailer(well done fyi), although there were a few stops to do additional running repairs, they made it to us on Sunday morning for a permanent fix.

Fitting the Five50 Throttle body permanent repair, they wont have this problem again. Fully TIG welded to CNC machined fittings, these pipes have been fitted on the most aggressive tunes and hold up without hesitation.

If you have a Navara NP300 please take care of your factory pipe with our upgrade, before you become another statistic.

It was great to finally put fa es to names after we've been dealing with SCF for so many years, let's hope next time its in a more social setting!

This is our 6am line up at a minimum every morning from blown hoses every hot night.
With the heat apon us, Intercooler hoses and seals are letting go at an alarming rate. Please don't let yourself be one of the ones who has a ruined holiday because of a breakdown. Every day we get requests to drop to people on the side of the road because they were going to wait until the end of the holidays to get them, but they didn't.
From today to next tuesday, every item will be going express post for no extra cost, or we'll drop within a 50k radius of Cardiff for a breakdown.
While we will be shutting down for the Christmas break, we will still be helping out where we can for breakdowns, but please remember, couriers and Australia Post also have breaks so it is hard to get items quickly, so dont wait if you're worried about breaking down
