We can't compete with China on price but we can definitely beat them on quality. While Chinese boxes have their place, if you are opening the things 100 times per day and giving them a hard time they simply aren't up to the task.
The owner of this box had the old one in 3 times for repairs for split seams, failed gas struts and broken brackets before committing to a properly built box that should last many years of hard work.
Made from 3mm checker (not 1.5mm), 227kg drawer runners, stainless heavy duty latches and stainless piano hinge.

Breakdown repair on this drive setup on a Claas harvester. With the complete drive nudging $20,000 this was repaired and put back into service at a mere fraction of the cost. More importantly it was back out in the field making $$ a few days later with no wait time on parts.

When you go this hard on some of Tassie's gnarliest tracks things are bound to go sideways eventually... The poor under tray box and kitchen copped 8 ton of Unimog resulting in a fair bit of damage. Every part was disassembled and either straightened or remade to get this adventurous family back touring again. Look what's landed in the shop recently 😀 We've just had a new AC/DC TIG added to the fleet of welding machines. This thing is crazy and after a quick play it's obvious why these are some of the finest machines you can buy. With so many options for parameter adjustment it will take a little bit to suss everything out but the immediate results speak for themselves. The 8 metre watercooled torch to stop the hands cooking on those long runs will be a real bonus. For reference the photo with the matchstick is 1.2mm and 1.6mm filler rod welded together 😳 Also if you need a couple of Stanley knife blades welded together we can now do that as well 😅😀 enjoy
