Alltype Engineering’s head office and manufacturing facilities are located in Naval Base, Western Australia, providing excellent proximity to rail, road and port transport infrastructure and ready access to supply chain support and services. Utilising a modern, purpose built fabrication facility that encompasses the latest manufacturing technologies including CNC and automated processing, assembly and welding processes and equipment, Alltype Engineering provides clients with local, cost effective and competitive solutions for their fabricated steel, alloy and specialty metal fabrication requirements including:
• Process Piping
• Mild Steel Cement Lined (MSCL) piping and fittings
• Tanks and Hoppers
• Pressure Vessels
• Complex Steel Structures including modules, skids, frames and architectural items. Our services extend to the field with self-execution capabilities in the Structural / Mechanical / Piping disciplines with multidiscipline and turnkey project delivery capability in conjunction with our proven business partners and alliances. Our site teams undertake scopes ranging from metropolitan Water Corporation infrastructure and pump station facilities, processing facilities maintenance, shutdowns and brownfield site works, through to remote mine sites, offshore drill rigs, FPSO and production platform works. Our processes provide flexibility for the range of projects delivered across a range of specifications and standards to cater for the varying demands and needs of our clients. Alltype Engineering is certified to ISO9001, AS4801 and AS3834.2, satisfying requirements to be an approved Water Corporation welding panel member as well as major oil and gas E&P companies such as Woodside Energy for onshore, offshore and subsea works.

Alltype Engineering is currently seeking an experienced SMP Supervisor to join our site team in Karratha.

This site-based role will oversee daily SMP activities, predominantly with pipe installation and welding, coordinating supervisors, trades and subcontractors, and managing the installation of pipelines and MSCL water pipework.

What we’re looking for
✔ Experienced site-based SMP Supervisor, preferably with piping and water resources experience
✔ Mechanical trade qualification & White Card
✔ Strong focus on HSE, quality and compliance
✔ Proven experience leading teams and coordinating trades
✔ Section 26 (S26) Schedule exam completed — or willingness to complete

Alltype Engineering is currently seeking a QC / Welding Inspector.

This site-based role is responsible for field weld inspection and day-to-day management of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) to ensure all welding activities meet project specifications, Australian Standards and client requirements.

You will play a critical role in quality assurance, working closely with supervisors, NDT providers and client representatives to ensure full compliance and traceability from fit-up through to final close-out.
