Our qualified boilermakers will service and repair your transport and earthmoving plant & equipment – either on site from our fully equipped and mine site ready truck or at our workshop in Geraldton. We travel to all areas of Western Australia to get your equipment up and running in no time. We provide a wide range of service including, but not limited to, repairs and maintenance to all types of earthmoving equipment. Westweld Engineering specialises in the armouring of buckets and Ground Engaging Tools, and repairs to transport equipment, including manufacturing of new road train dollys.

Westweld Engineering is looking for a reliable, motivated person to join our Geraldton team!

No experience necessary – gap year applicants welcome!

This is a great opportunity to earn money, learn new skills and gain hands-on experience working alongside our qualified Boilermakers.

What's involved?
- Assisting with fabrication and workshop duties
- Preparing tools, materials and equipment
- General labouring and keeping the workshop organised
- Learning new skills along the way

What we're looking for:
- Current manual driver's licence
- Reliable, hardworking and willing to learn
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a team
- Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screen and obtain a police clearance

Westweld is proud to be sponsoring the Batavia Coast Veteran & Classic Vehicle Club’s Show N Shine Fundraiser, raising funds to support people impacted by Parkinson’s.

Head down to Brigades Football Oval from 9am on Sunday 25 October for a day of classic cars, food, coffee and plenty to check out.

It's official! Congratulations Bradley on completing your apprenticeship 🙌

Bradley joined us for work experience through Nagle Catholic College's Pre-Apprenticeships in Schools Program in 2022 before starting his apprenticeship with us in 2023.

We've loved having him as part of the team, and of course we didn't let the occasion pass without a team lunch 🎉

10 YEARS AT WESTWELD 👊

This week we’re celebrating a pretty solid milestone - 10 years of Steve being part of the Westweld crew.

A decade in one workplace is a great achievement, and over that time Steve has become a valued part of our team, bringing his skills, experience and hard work to countless projects.

Ten years deserves more than a handshake, so we got the crew together for a pizza lunch to mark the occasion! 🍕

Recently completed - fabrication of this gas wellhead cellar.

Built using sheet piling for below-ground reinforcement, this structure weighs in at over 8 tonnes and stands 2.6m tall.
