Hillhead Show challenge: find all five Wattersons.

Bonus points if you can name them all without any help. 😅

You'll find most of them hanging around the Powerscreen stand H6, alongside an industry icon: the MK1 (Ulster Plant PC100).

Built in 1966, this was the machine that started the Powerscreen journey. Long before telematics, touchscreens, and hybrid technology, the MK1 was changing the way materials were processed.

Some machines come and go. Others change an industry.

The MK1 did exactly that. 💚

Last week, our Group Marketing Manager Renata Hjelmstrom swapped her desk for the bright lights of Sydney as a finalist in the Women in Industry Awards – Marketer of the Year category!

Joining her for the celebrations were our General Manager of Sales Darren Smith and Sales Representative (Forestry & Organics) Alex Young, ready to cheer her on.

While Renata didn’t bring home the trophy this time, being surrounded by so many inspiring and accomplished women made it a night to remember. If you could get all those women together in one room for long enough, we're convinced they could solve most of the world's problems before dessert was served. 😉

Renata's creativity, energy, and dedication continue to drive our marketing to new heights, and being recognised as a finalist is a well-deserved achievement. We're incredibly proud to have her on our team.

A huge thank you to Prime Creative Media for putting together another fantastic event celebrating the incredible women shaping our industry.

Producing a cleaner limestone product doesn't have to mean adding more equipment to the process.

At a limestone quarry in WA, the Powerscreen Premiertrak 450 delivered a high-quality product directly from the jaw, removing the need for a separate screening stage.

The result was a simpler crushing process, improved productivity, and a product that consistently met specification, helping the customer get more from their operation.

Australia plays again tomorrow in the World Cup, and we're backing the green and gold!

While the team gets ready for another big match, it's a timely reminder that strong results often start long before kick-off.

For equipment, that means regular maintenance, planned servicing, and the right support when it's needed.

What's your best tip for keeping equipment running smoothly?

Turning long compost windrows requires constant attention from the operator.

Limited visibility can make it difficult to monitor the entire windrow, leading to more adjustments and increased fatigue over long shifts. 🌱

The Komptech Topturn X5500 addresses this challenge with its liftable cab, allowing operators to rise above the windrow for a clear view of the material and work area.

Improved visibility enhances operator comfort, increases safety, and provides greater control throughout the composting process.
