Good morning to everyone. I hope you all faired well in the storm yesterday.
At our main office in Narangba we are still without power.
Please call the mobile for machining bookings but I have no access to catalogues to look up parts properly. Please do call if you need anything I can’t guarantee much but I’ll try my best.

A1 Brakes are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable person to join our small team based in Narangba.

We are looking to fill a role providing brake and flywheel machining services, and the occasional parts delivery throughout the North side of Brisbane. The position is casual with regular 30+ hours weekly Monday to Friday.

A mechanically minded candidate would have an advantage, though machining experience is not mandatory. Full training is provided.

During last week we had thought we’d be back to business as usual Monday morning. Unfortunately we need to make the call now that we will remain closed tomorrow. With more flooding expected and still no power at the premises we don’t really have a choice. Hoping to be back on board 8am Tuesday.

The silly season is certainly upon us so I'm probably overdue to update you all on our Christmas closure dates.

A1 Brakes last day of trade will be Friday December 20th. Finishing time will depend on demand on the day with many workshops using that day as a clean up day. We will be here to 1pm at least.

We will reopen for normal trading at 8am Monday 6th January.

The whole team would like to take the opportunity to wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and thank you for your continued support throughout 2024.
