Kennewell Cnc Machining

Kennewell Cnc Machining CNC Machining services including LATHE and MILL work. Lights Out Automated machining.

Kennewell CNC Machining has been supplying machine builders and individuals with machined components for over 20 years.
“First time visitors are still amazed to see such a sophisticated facility in the region,” says founder Brett Kennewell.
“I like to make time for visitors and show them our various machine tools and what they can make. I look for that ‘aha’ moment when they realise we can make

their spare parts or OEM assemblies or help them develop their unique idea right here in Murray Bridge.”
“I believe this type of customer – the inventor – the innovator - is the future of Kennewell CNC Machining and an important part of Australia’s manufacturing future.”
“I love it when a visitor has an idea for a new or improved product and I can show them how we can create their idea or solve their problem before their eyes.”
Kennewell CNC Machining has a CAD consultant available by appointment who can assist with developing ideas from the ground up.
“Our 3D CAD system enables customers to view a computer animation of their idea, before manufacturing commences,” Brett said.
“From here the customer can choose prototyping using 3D printing technology to create a plastic or metal example part or go straight into a CNC machined production run of 5 or 5,000 parts.”
“So we will continue to encourage creative people to solve problems with new products and if we can play a role in getting these new Australian made parts or machines to market then we will have a bright future doing what we do best - making beautiful machined parts.”
Machining is a process where a lathe or mill is used to cut away metal or plastic leaving the desired final part, also known as ‘subtractive manufacturing’. CNC - computer numerical control is how lathes, mills and other machine tools are programmed to produce the toolpath to cut the part.
3D printing is a process of building a part layer by layer with extruded plastic like a hot glue gun, also known as ‘additive manufacturing’.
