No funding.
No red tape.
Just people showing up for each other.

If you’re in a surrounding town and wondering how you can help — this is your sign.

It doesn’t have to be big to make a difference.

If you’ve got something to donate but can’t get it there, reach out — we’re happy to help with pickup and delivery where we can. All donor details are passed on at the gate so people know who’s helped.

Alexandra is still accepting food donations, and we’ll be doing a run there this week as well.

Community helping community 💪

Today we delivered 150 bales of hay and 20 slabs of water to Longwood to support those doing it tough.

Everything donated — no funding, no fanfare — just locals helping locals.

A huge thank you to:

• A generous orchard in Ardmona

This post isn’t about praise.
It’s about encouragement.

If you’ve got spare time, spare resources, or the ability to help — even in a small way — now’s the time.
A load of hay, water, fencing help, transport, checking on neighbours… it all matters.

Also a big thank you to my brother inlaw coming up from Melbourne to help and cart.

If you’re able to help secure any of the items below, please drop them to the corner of Middlemiss Road and Depot Road in Longwood by 1pm today. We’re especially short on a few critical things.

With fires impacting nearby communities, we want to help where we can.

We’ve already been out doing our bit locally — including spending a full day on a farm in Longwood helping move and stack hay bales — and we’d like to extend that support further.

If you’re able to deliver donations directly, that’s strongly encouraged and greatly appreciated. For anyone who can’t, we’re happy to collect items locally and deliver them on your behalf.

Items such as:
• Non-perishable food
• Bottled water
• Toiletries
• Blankets & clothing
• Pet food & supplies

We’ve dropped off supplies for our Country Fire Authority and State Emergency Service crews at the Longwood Football Oval.

There is an accessible drop-off point set up at the oval for anyone in the community who would like to contribute.

👉 Please note: the operational staging area may be moving to Euroa, however donations can still be dropped at Longwood Football Oval and will be forwarded on as needed.

Items that are particularly useful:
• Bottled water
• Electrolyte drinks
• Bags of ice
• Dry and canned food
• Sealed snacks

If you’re able to help, even a small donation makes a difference and is greatly appreciated by the crews working long hours to protect our community.
