The Soilmec Australia service department has been hard at work getting this new SR-65 Bluetech machine converted into Low Headroom configuration before handover to its new owner.

With the segmental mast being lifted off and new cathead installed, the machine is one step closer to completion and ready to work building the critical infrastructure to power the nation.

The SR-65 is highly versatile and can be quickly converted from Low Headroom, full length mast large diameter pile configuration, CFA (Continuous Flight Auger) and many other technologies. It can also be transported with kelly bar mounted, making it extremely quick to transport, rig up and start drilling.

We have more SR-65, SR-45 Bluetech Plus and SR-95 piling rigs currently on order and on the way, with our in-stock SR-35 piling rigs so whatever you require, Soilmec has you covered.

The sun was out and shining bright, just like this brand new Geax EK90 CFA piling rig in Melbourne. This beauty was handed over to its new owners, Jake and Luke at Ja & Ja Piling. Their first Geax rig, but not their first rodeo into piling, Ja & Ja were keen on the EK90 after they first got their hands on a Geax a few years ago.

This beast is fully kitted out, with long mast capable of reaching up to 16.5 m in drilling depth in CFA and up to 750 mm in diameter. The machine comes factory fitted with the Jean Lutz Dialog system and is mounted on the latest Develon DX180LC base. Coming with the additional Large Diameter Pile kit with 5 x 5.6 m kelly, this rig can be easily converted to kelly mode and be drilling up to 25 m deep piles in a matter of hours.

We are very proud to have delivered a great machine to a new client and look forward to seeing this machine on site in the coming days on its first project.

Another day, another delivery – this time it’s our SR-45 Piling Rig in LDP (Large Diameter Pile) configuration for our great customer here in Sydney. This is yet another rig to their growing fleet of kelly bar and CFA capable machines, and is already being put to work without a minute to spare.

Being collected at 11am, the machine was on site and rigged up just after lunch time the same day, showing the speed at which these machines can be transported and made ready for drilling.

Capable of drilling up to 32 m depth with the 4 x 9 m kelly bar as shown, CFA up to 21 depth and compatible with the low headroom, displacement pile or soil mixing kits if required, this versatile rig is able to be set up to suit your specific project requirements.

It doesn’t take long to get them out the door, with the 2nd pump dispatched this year to our growing customer over the Tasman! This machine will join their rapidly expanding fleet of Piling rigs and other pumps, with another SR-65 piling rig to be delivered to them shortly.

It’s been a whirlwind start to the year for Soilmec Australia! We have been busy getting machines out the door faster than we can bring them in, and it’s not looking like it’s going to slow down anytime soon.

With two machines being delivered from our HQ just this last week, machines arriving from the factory at various ports around the country and NZ, exciting times are ahead in the piling game.

We have just delivered another SM-11 micro-piling rig, an SKP-110 concrete pump (with 2 more being received and now being prepped for delivery) and a Geax EK90 to a new customer (watch this space).
Today, we are in the process of preparing an SR-45 (adding to the clients existing fleet) and an SR-65 (one of two machines to a new client).

Currently on the water we have a monster SR-105 arriving in the coming days, another Geax EK60 heading to NZ, as well as orders for a huge SR-95, and yet another SR-65 with SKP 110 concrete pump!

We are always thankful for the support and look forward to seeing these machines out in the field drilling holes, pumping concrete and building the future for this country.

Punching through 7m of hard basalt to get to 25m depth is never easy, let alone at 1200 mm diameter. But when you have the power of a Soilmec SR-65 Bluetech at your fingertips, it sure does look like it is!

Soiltek in NZ has sent us some images of their rig working on a substation in Wairau Northshore and were ripping through this. Its always great to see our customers machines getting put to work, so please send us your photos and videos and we can show the world what you are up to!

What a beautiful day for deliveries! Soilmec Australia has been a bee-hive of activity loading rigs to go to a new customer in Victoria, and another customer in NSW. Our service team has been hard at work getting this SR-65 Bluetech in Kelly configuration and this SR-45 in CFA configuration ready to go straight to work!
