World Without Skin Tears Day 9th April 2026

We're proud to join the International Skin Tear Advisory Panel (ISTAP) to raise awareness and improve education on the prevention and management of skin tears.

Skin tears are common in older adults and patients with fragile or compromised skin. They are typically caused by minor trauma, friction, or shear. Despite growing awareness and improvements in prevention and management strategies, skin tears remain a persistent challenge for both patients and clinicians.
