Hiring now: Fleet Maintenance Auto Electrician, Edwardstown.

Aerial Access is on the hunt for a sharp Auto Electrician to join our Edwardstown workshop. Full-time, permanent, and a long way from a standard workshop role.

You will work across trucks, light vehicles, EWPs, chippers and specialised equipment. Workshop one day, field service the next. Diagnostics, electrical, mechanical and hydraulic fault finding, all managed end-to-end.

What is on offer:

- $45 to $55 per hour, based on experience
- Permanent full-time role with real job stability
- Company vehicle negotiable for the right candidate
- Overtime and varied field-based work
- Mentor dual-trade apprentices
- Uniforms, PPE, RPL and ongoing upskilling

What we need:

- Auto Electrical trade qualification
- Strong mechanical capability or dual trade
- Proven diagnostics across electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems
- Heavy vehicle or plant experience
- Current driver's licence, MR within 3 months

An early morning demonstration with a local Council in Adelaide sparked some great ideas for a build design tailored to their exact application.

Working in tight-access, built-up metro areas presents unique challenges, so the goal is to develop a versatile insulated EWP that is nimble enough to navigate confined spaces while still providing the range of movement needed to access dense tree limbs and canopies.

The VERSALIFT VST40I offers a 14m working height with up to 9m of horizontal outreach. The pedestal can be mounted toward the front of the truck bed to create a more compact unit with a tighter turning circle, or rear-mounted to increase rearward reach and encourage cutting away from the truck cab.

Toolbox design and layout can also be purpose-built to suit the specific needs of the crew and their application.
