🔥 Hand-Forged Wall Torches 🔥

Hand-forged steel wall torches with a removable turned timber handle. The torch head features a Kevlar wick wrapped in copper, designed to be soaked in fire fluid and lit for outdoor use.

The steel is beeswaxed while hot to protect the metal, and the timber handle is also hand turned and sealed with beeswax.

The timber torch lifts out of a wall-mounted bracket, which screws securely to an external wall.

Our small business and farm life often blend into one, which is why we sometimes forget to share what’s happening.

We raise our own cattle, and when the time comes, they feed our family and our dogs. From each animal, we also render tallow for cooking and for use in our soaps and whipped tallow balm.

This week felt a little different as we put down an old heifer — the last animal to have survived the bushfire.

What have we been up to the last couple of days? Rendering tallow… so much tallow.

⚒️ You can find Getting Hammered Ironworks at the Lemon Fizz Collective in Mount Barker, where we’ve been stocked since just before Christmas.

We currently have a small selection of our ironwork, handmade soaps, whipped tallow balm, and leather goods — including tote bags and small cross-body bags.

Our soaps include goat milk, tallow, and vegan options, all hand made in small batches.

If you're ever in Mt Barker, it’s a beautiful space filled with handmade and local goods from small businesses.

Six years ago the Cudlee Creek bushfire left us without a front gate, or any gates at all and most of our fences were gone.

Shortly after we picked up some old gates and today, after lots of work and help from family to carry them around they are finally standing.

Happy New Year!

We’re looking forward to another year of orders, new projects, and whatever else life throws our way.

Our work is still available at the Lemon Fizz Collective in Mt Barker, and we’re slowly working towards a website so you can buy direct from us.
