Job Updates!!!

Another successful completion of a critical structural repair executed under anchorage conditions.

The scope involved removal of deteriorated material, fabrication and installation of a new structural plate, and multi-position welding including confined space and vertical applications — all delivered safely and within schedule.

Quality assurance remained a priority throughout. All welds were subjected to NDT (Dye Penetrant Testing) and ( Magnetic Particle Testing) achieved PASS results, confirming compliance and structural integrity.

A big thank you to the team for their hard work, precision, and commitment in delivering this project under demanding conditions.

This project reflects our capability to deliver high-standard marine repairs under operational constraints, combining technical ex*****on with hands-on leadership.

Job Updates!!

Wrapping up the week with an update on our latest progress regarding the emergency repair of a commercial vessel.

The emergency repair of the commercial vessel was successfully completed within a critical timeframe, ensuring the vessel was restored to a safe and operational condition with minimal disruption. Initially, the surveyor assessed the damage, and then our team began the repairs. The work involved urgent structural evaluations, preparation, and carrying out high-quality welding repairs that adhered to marine standards and safety protocols. The long night started, and it became quite challenging due to the weather conditions and the fact that it was a public holiday, when most companies were closed. Nevertheless, we’re glad we managed to get it done in the end after 22 hrs straight.

The repair Team demonstrated exceptional skill, efficiency, and professionalism throughout the operation. Their ability to respond promptly under pressure, maintain strict compliance with safety and quality requirements, and deliver precise workmanship was instrumental to the success of this project.

We extend our sincere appreciation to our professional welders in collaboration with Gbc Weld Works. Alsemo and Melvin showcased their dedication, expertise, and commitment to provide the best outcome. I also like to thank the marine crew members, Australian maritime security personnel for going above and beyond with escorting us throughout the job, not only they ensured the integrity of the vessel but also upheld the highest standards expected in the marine industry.

J.T Pipe & Steel Fabrication is Engaging 1 year contract work for one of the biggest organic waste company solution to provide, Mechanical Installation / In-house welding & fabrication of ducting system, tank’s and all structural works.

Our organic waste solutions partner can help these businesses manage their waste in a sustainable way by diverting it from landfills and recovering valuable resources such as compost and biogas. The compost produced can be used as a soil conditioner to improve crop yields, while the biogas can be used to generate energy or offset fossil fuel use.

Following an urgent 22-hour breakdown notification on the night of January 14th, our team at J.T PIPES swiftly mobilised to support the seafarers of a crude oil ship docking in Geelong.

Our Managing Director took the lead, working hands-on to complete critical welding repairs by January 16th, ensuring the ship's safe departure to Japan.

We're incredibly proud of our team's dedication and expertise in delivering high-stakes solutions while prioritising strict safety protocols.
