This Sunday, we’ll be popping up at the Yallourn Production Centre as part of the Coffee & Cars morning, sharing more about the work happening behind the scenes at Clarity Services and Support.

Throughout the morning, we’ll be highlighting some of the people involved in our programs, their goals, the businesses they’re building, and the supports helping them move forward.

We’ll also be talking about the different ways the community can get involved, whether that’s through mentoring, donations, work experience opportunities, volunteering, sponsorship, equipment, or simply helping us spread the word.

Every connection creates another opportunity for someone to build skills, confidence, independence, and community inclusion.

We’d love to give a shoutout to Zoe, who is currently working toward her goal of becoming a published author.

Drawing on her lived experience of disability, Zoe is passionate about creating middle grade stories centred around adventure, connection, and belonging.

With support from business coach, Den, from Den Lim Coaching, she has now launched a fundraiser to help bring her first book to life.

Please help support Zoe’s writing journey by donating, sharing the fundraiser, or helping spread the word.

Did you know Clarity Services and Support offers more than one kind of support?

Our work is built around creating opportunities and strengthening communities through a connected, practical approach.

We support people with disabilities through:
• Skills building and microenterprise
• Respite accommodation and retreats
• Community development
• Inclusive business and NDIS advisory

While these areas may look different, they are connected by one purpose - helping people build confidence, increase opportunities and strengthen inclusion in our community.

Different supports. Shared purpose.

Empowering Communities Together.

There has been a lot of fear, confusion and commentary following yesterday’s NDIS announcement.

At Clarity Services and Support, we want our community to know this: you are not alone.

We stand with participants, families and providers who may be feeling unsettled by the language being used publicly and the speculation now circulating. We know systems can feel overwhelming, and we know many people carry real fatigue from having to constantly fight to protect supports, rights and dignity.

That is why we remain staunch advocates for our NDIS community.

We also believe there is power in numbers. Power in collaboration. Power in communities that share information, support one another and speak up together.

The Easy Read update in this post, prepared by the NDIA, is shared to help cut through some of the noise and provide clearer information about what is known right now.

Importantly, there are no immediate changes to people’s current supports as a result of yesterday’s announcement.

Now is the time for calm, not panic.
For evidence, not rumours.
For solidarity, not division.

As always, we will continue to advocate, share information as it becomes clearer, and stand beside our community as changes unfold.

If you are worried, reach out.

The NDIS has changed lives.
But right now, the system is under pressure - and people are feeling it.
We don’t need cuts that harm outcomes.
We need a system that works.
Fix the system. Protect the people.

We’re now taking participants for our Term 2 Thrive Programs.

Thrive is designed for people who often fall between mainstream employment programs and traditional disability services. Many programs are built around group-based, classroom-style learning and fixed expectations. For a lot of people, those environments simply don’t fit how they learn, process information or build confidence.

Our programs are one-to-one, personalised and hands-on. We work alongside each person to build practical skills and move towards goals such as employment or volunteering, in ways that fit the person rather than forcing the person to fit the system.

Programs usually run for 10 weeks, with the option to extend where it’s genuinely needed.

Streams available in Term 2 include literacy, finding and keeping a job, gardening, maintenance, retail, food prep and starting your own business. If there’s a skill or industry you’re interested in that isn’t listed here, reach out to our team. We design programs around the person, so we may still be able to support what you’re aiming to learn.
