Big beast in the workshop 👌

This Kenworth T909 is in for a major service and multiple repairs before heading back out to earn its keep.

A proper once-over, the faults sorted and everything brought back up to scratch so it’s ready to get back to work.

📏 NO CROOKED TAPE HERE.

When we fit reflective tape, we want it to look like it belongs there — not like it was thrown on in five minutes.

Laser set up, line marked and reflective tape fitted straight and consistent along the body.

It’s a small detail, but the finish matters. Better visibility, cleaner presentation and a professional result.

Laser aligned. Site ready. Done properly.

🔧 BIG JOBS, DONE PROPERLY.

This 6-wheeler came through DSM Mechanical with an extensive list of repairs and upgrades needed before heading back to site.
Work included injectors, diff reseal, brake repairs, new front springs and plenty more mechanical work along the way.

From there it headed over to D&K Engineering for the fitment of a new ROPS, before coming back to us for the finishing touches.

We then fitted the top lights, manufactured a new wiring harness, completed the remaining repairs and carried out the final checks to get it site ready and back to work.

A solid amount of work into this one, but that’s what it takes to turn an older truck into a reliable, compliant site vehicle.

🌙 NIGHT WORKS — BE SEEN. BE SAFE.

Breakdowns don’t wait for daylight, and neither do we.
When you’re working roadside or around heavy vehicles at night, visibility matters. Reflective markings, warning lights and a clearly marked service vehicle aren’t just for looks — they’re there to make sure everyone gets home safe.

DSM Mechanical is set up for after-hours breakdowns and night work, helping keep trucks, machinery and equipment moving when the rest of the world has knocked off.
Day or night, we’re ready to go.

Ready for the next adventure 👌

This Prado and caravan came through for a bit of pre-trip attention before heading back out on the road.

Prado serviced, trailer brake system and tow bar wiring harness fitted, caravan wheel bearings serviced, and everything checked over ready to hook up and go.

Whether it’s the tow vehicle or the van behind it, getting everything sorted before the trip beats finding the problem halfway down the highway.

⛽ Wrong fuel? We’ll get you moving again.

This one got caught out with the wrong fuel in the tank, so DSM Mechanical came out to site and sorted it on the spot.

Tank pumped out, fresh diesel added, fuel system primed and she was back up and running without needing a tow. 👌

A simple mistake can turn into an expensive one if the vehicle keeps running, so if you realise the wrong fuel has gone in — stop, don’t start it, and give us a call.
