WINNER WINNER, WEBER DINNER!

We have a Father’s Day winner! Congratulations to William, who has scored himself a brand-new Weber Baby Q1000N!

William stopped by Two Dogs Mitre 10 to collect his prize — and of course, his four-legged mate came along to make sure the Weber made it home safely. We have a feeling that pup is already looking forward to the first BBQ!

🔨 Two Dogs Toolbox Talks: Fun Facts About Anthea 🔨

Next up in our Two Dogs Toolbox Talks is Anthea, who has been part of the Two Dogs team for two years.

She wanted to be a lawyer when she grew up, has a soft spot for the Wildtrak Jump Starter Pack, and reckons she can juggle. Although, in her own words, “not very good”. We appreciate the honesty.

❓ What did you want to be when you grew up?

💬 Lawyer.

❓ How long have you been working at Two Dogs?

💬 Two years.

❓ What is your favourite product in-store?

💬 Wildtrak Jump Starter Pack.

❓ Do you have a hidden talent? What is it?

💬 Juggling, but not very good.

❓ If you could choose a superpower, what would it be?

💬 Teleportation.

❓ What is your favourite TV show, the one you are always watching on repeat?

💬 Dexter / The Handmaid’s Tale.

Anthea may have started out wanting to be a lawyer, but somewhere along the way she picked up questionable juggling skills, developed a taste for Dexter and The Handmaid’s Tale, and decided teleportation would be the ideal superpower.

We’re not sure what legal career path that is, but if the juggling goes badly, at least she can teleport away before anyone asks for an encore. 😂

Next up is Jenna from Customer Services, who has been with Two Dogs for almost a year.

She wanted to be a nurse when she grew up, her favourite part of the store is Electrical, and apparently, if things get messy, Jenna is the person to call. Cleaning is her hidden talent. We’re not sure if that was meant to be impressive or a subtle hint to the rest of us. 😂

❓ What did you want to be when you grew up?

💬 Nurse.

❓ How long have you been working at Two Dogs?

💬 Almost one year.

❓ What is your favourite product in-store?

💬 Electrical.

❓ Do you have a hidden talent? What is it?

💬 Cleaning lol.

❓ If you could choose a superpower, what would it be?

💬 To take people’s pain away.

❓ What is your favourite TV show, the one you are always watching on repeat?

💬 90 Day Fiancé.

Almost a year in, Jenna has clearly found her place at Two Dogs. She can take away your pain, clean up the mess, and then go home and watch other people make questionable life choices on 90 Day Fiancé. It’s a surprisingly well-rounded skill set. 😂

🔨 Two Dogs Toolbox Talks: Fun Facts About Ken 🔨

Next up in our Two Dogs Toolbox Talks is Ken, also known as our Dogsbody / Repairman / Customer Facilitator — which sounds like a very official way of saying he gets called when something needs doing.

Ken has been part of the Two Dogs team for two and a half years, has a soft spot for any timber he can get his hands on, and apparently has the ability to turn a log of rubbish timber into a box. We're not entirely sure what happens in between, but we're impressed.

❓ What did you want to be when you grew up?

💬 Airforce.

❓ How long have you been working at Two Dogs?

💬 Two and a half years.

❓ What is your favourite product in-store?

💬 Any timber.

❓ Do you have a hidden talent? What is it?

💬 Rebuilding a box from a log of rubbish timber.

❓ If you could choose a superpower, what would it be?

💬 Better at sport.

❓ What is your favourite TV show, the one you are always watching on repeat?

💬 Blue Bloods, NCIS and NCIS: New Orleans.

Between repairing things, helping customers, turning questionable bits of timber into something useful and watching enough police shows to solve a few cases himself, Ken really is irreplaceable.

Although, with three different police shows on repeat, we're starting to wonder whether Ken is actually working at Two Dogs or just waiting for his next case. 😂
