🏔️ From Snow to Sand: That’s a Wrap on Our Tassie Adventure! 🌊

Our incredible family road trip is officially coming to an end today, and what an adventure it has been! We truly covered every corner of this amazing island, crossing countless creeks and streams along the way (though we didn’t end up doing a whole lot of fossicking!).

From throwing snowballs up on Mt. Wellington to splashing in the surf at Port Arthur, we experienced just about every season in a single trip.
Along the drive, we stopped at just about every lolly shop and old gaol we could spot, visited the historic oldest bridge in Australia, and took a ride on the gorge chairlift with the world's longest single span of 308 meters!

The coast was just as incredible—we spent hours exploring rock pools overflowing with wildlife and crabs, and even ate fresh oysters straight off the rocks in St. Helens.

Made our way to a lookout at Bicheno and watched the wales breaching and playing in the bay.

Spent a day at Beaconsfield checking out the old mine and the story of the trapped miners. So much to see. Definitely didn’t spend enough time looking around.

For our final stop today, we popped into Timberland to pick up some of Tassie's finest local lumber so I can craft a few one-of-a-kind chopping boards once we're back. The family has had an absolute blast from start to finish.

Tonight we load up the boat to head home, back to reality, and back on the tools! 🛥️🛠️
