Friday 15th & Saturday May 16th May 2026 at the 2026 Mildura Field Days, don't miss your chance to check out the Cowanna Almond Harvesting, Spare Parts and Service site.

They're the Australia distributor for all Flory, OMC and Jackrabbit machinery and will have a variety of machines on display and an extensive supply of spare parts on hand for your convenience.

Operating since 2006, Cowanna Almond Harvesting Pty Ltd is a family owned business which has been supporting almond and other nut growers Australia wide with machinery, spare parts and service of machinery.

On Saturday we celebrated Craig ‘Bunga’ McDonald’s 10th Work Anniversary with Cowanna! Bunga has always been our No. 1 prankster… even pranking the girls in the office just recently! He loves a laugh and helps to keep things positive when things are going tough. He runs an amazing workshop and is a true ‘apprentice whisperer’! His genuine care and concern for everyone at Cowanna has been a true blessing. No matter how busy he is, he always has time for anyone walking into his office. The temperature may be either very little chilly or over-heated, but Bunga’s disposition isn’t! Bunga brought in his little camp stove when there were just the 5 of us and initiated ‘Friday lunches’ often with a hot dog in the saucepan or dim sims on the BBQ. We thought we were living like kings!
He has created many long-time friendships with customers; his problem-solving skills are incredible and his cooking skills – amazing. It is a true joy having you around Bunga! Congratulations

What started as the family’s dried fruit block to transitioning into almonds in the early ’90s, the Bennetts have laid the foundations for what Cowanna is today.

Established in 2002, Cowanna Almond Harvesting has grown from a contract harvesting business into a trusted name supporting growers with machinery, servicing and genuine parts, now operating from both Merbein and Griffith.

Labour Day Public Holiday – Store Update

Please note our Merbein office will be closed on Monday 9th March 2026 for the Victorian Labour Day public holiday, however our team will still be available for phone and email support.

Our Griffith store will remain open and operating as usual.

For Sunraysia and Riverland customers, our on-call service team will still be available should you require urgent support.

Normal trading hours at our Merbein store will resume Tuesday 10th March, with freight shipments also resuming from this day.
