It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas 🎄 🎶

Under strict supervision by some excited residents, Paul and Connor raised Father Christmas and his reindeer into place on the balcony of the Meningie & Districts Memorial Hospital this afternoon.

An annual tradition that we are proud to be associated with, bringing a little Christmas cheer to those visiting the Hospital over the next couple of months.

Last week Paul attended an Industry Technology Night run by the team at Weld Australia.

The event featured presentations and practical demonstrations on:
* Welding Fume Management
* Grinding and Abrasive Technologies
* Lorch Cobot Welding

With the upcoming changes in legislation around Welding Fumes and constant advances in technology, it was great to see firsthand how maximizing these will transform our operational capabilities and keep our staff safe in the process. 👨‍🏭

Recently, Paul took both Connor and Jacobe on a Professional Development day touring a number of different workshops. With specialities ranging from heavy fabrication rolling/bending, galvanizing and profile cutting, they were exposed to varied elements and processes of the metal fabrication trade.

Opportunities like this are integral to the learning and development in our Apprenticeship Program and are complimentary to the skills learnt via on the job training. 👨‍🏭👨‍🏭
