🍌 SAME BANANAS. SAME ENVIRONMENT. VERY DIFFERENT RESULT.

These are real photographs and recorded results from our banana trial.

We started with two comparable batches of bananas under the same ambient conditions.

💧 One batch was displayed under DME Dry Mist + EOG
🚫 The second batch was displayed without mist as the control

The first photos show the difference at DAY 9.

🟢 DAY 9 – UNDER DME DRY MIST + EOG
The bananas remained well presented and continued to be monitored beyond the original 9-day trial.
🔴 DAY 9 – NO MIST / CONTROL
The bananas had deteriorated significantly and were considered inedible by Day 9.

And here's where it gets even more interesting...

Although the comparative trial ran for 9 days, we continued monitoring the bananas under Dry Mist + EOG.

🍌 On Day 15 they were still firm, full of flavour, well presented — and still being consumed.

The final graphic brings together the trial progression and recorded results to show the difference over time.

For decades, cut flowers have been displayed in buckets of water, requiring staff to continually top them up, clean the buckets and, at the end of each day, move the flowers back into refrigerated cool rooms to help preserve their freshness.

It's a labour-intensive process that consumes valuable staff time while refrigeration continues to add significantly to operating costs.

At Dry Mist Engineering, we asked a simple question:

Our answer is the DME/Roar Equipment Cut Flower Display—a purpose-built merchandising solution incorporating Dry Mist Engineering's ultrasonic humidification technology.
