This wool was headed to landfill. Now, it’s helping protect life-saving medicines. 🐑💊
Not all wool is destined for a jumper. WOOLPACK™ is made from 100% Australian wool from cross-bred sheep raised for meat, rather than their fleece.
This wool isn’t suitable for textiles and would ordinarily be destined for landfill. We saw an opportunity to give that waste stream a new life.
Today, that wool is being transformed into high-performance cold-chain packaging for food and pharmaceuticals, helping protect temperature-sensitive products throughout the supply chain.
And the impact is already measurable:
♻️20.5 million EPS boxes eliminated
🐑9,600 tonnes of wool diverted from landfill
🌏13,650 tonnes of GHG emissions avoided
🇦🇺 $14.5 million in new income for Australian sheep farmers
