The first webinar in the Kingspan Digital Academy Industry Exchange Series starts with the fundamentals of insulation, led by Alice Berti from Kingspan.

A couple of weeks ago, our State Sales Manager Scott Kenna travelled to Nadi, Fiji for a client appreciation night hosted by Roofing and Profiles, and it was a brilliant evening! 🌴

The room was filled with builders, architects, specifiers, resort managers, and sales professionals all coming together to connect and share ideas. Scott brought along our Kingspan AIR-CELL samples, which sparked some fantastic conversations about local project needs and how we can best support the Fijian market.

It's always great to get face-to-face with the people shaping the built environment in a market outside of Australia. A big thank you to Roofing and Profiles for bringing the industry together, looking forward to what comes from these connections! 🤝

Created by Vistek Structural Engineers, the space brings together real-world assemblies to help architects, developers, builders and consultants understand how mass timber buildings come together in practice.

From acoustics and moisture management to fire performance, structural connections and building envelope solutions, the hub offers a hands-on way to explore key systems in one place.

We’re proud to have Kingspan Therma PIR boards featured as part of a warm roof system alongside Soprema waterproofing membranes, demonstrating how these solutions support high-performance mass timber construction.

We’re participating in Mass Timber Central, a new industry hub being launched by Vistek in Melbourne on 30 April - today.

The idea behind the space is simple but important: helping the industry better understand how mass timber buildings actually work in practice.

Rather than focusing only on timber panels, the displays highlight the systems that make these buildings perform, from acoustics and fire protection to moisture management and structural connections.

Our Therma PIR insulation boards will be part of the space, helping demonstrate how the warm roof assemblies come together in real projects.

Roof repair and remediation!

A strong example of how the right roofing system can restore performance and add long term value.

For this housing project in Sydney’s CBD, an ageing roof had developed significant leaks, affecting the roof slab and creating damp issues in the dwellings below. The brief called for a solution that would deliver compliant waterproofing, improved energy efficiency, optimised drainage and better internal comfort.

Using Kingspan Therma™ tapered PIR insulation boards in conjunction with Soprema premium waterproofing membranes, a complete remedial roofing solution was developed to create precise falls towards drainage outlets, helping eliminate ponding and improve long term roof durability.

Alongside drainage performance, our Therma boards also enhanced the thermal efficiency of the building, supporting a more comfortable and energy efficient outcome for residents. The roof system also comes with a 25 year system warranty, offering added peace of mind for the client.
