Established in 2011 Fitzroy Etching Presses is an independent business managed by artists Stephen Twohig and Jane Ansted in the heart of Fitzroy, Australia’s printmaking capital. Specializing in making custom Etching Presses , Brayers and Rollers and other printmaking equipment we also provide Repair, Service and Maintenance to existing presses in private studios, schools and other institutions.

Creative Engineering:
We have been manufacturing one off solutions for factories, homes and shops locally and nationally. Stephen has been building controls and swithboards most of his life and has an extensive knowledge in electrical safety and circuits and controls. In the workshop there is high quality manufacturing equipment for turning, milling, cutting and Mig and Arc welding. We have several overhead cranes and foundry, plating and bending services.
