We were honoured to welcome the Hon. Roger Cook MLA, Premier of Western Australia and his team to our Kwinana facilities last week. His visit was to celebrate and explore the completion of our new Kwinana Rubber Mixing Facility (K-Mix), which is consolidating our manufacturing capabilities here in WA and helping to create new jobs and opportunities for the WA mining and fabrication sectors.

He was joined on this tour by several members of our Executive Leadership Team, who then took him through the rest of our conveyor belt fabrication site, showcasing how Fenner Conveyors is supporting circularity in mining with our recycled conveyor belts, proudly made and remade in Australia thanks in part to our close relationship with Tyrecycle, a rubber recycling partner here in Kwinana.

We were proud to play our part as a table sponsor for the 2026 Men's Mental Health Awareness ball on the 12 June. It was great see our team representing us on the night and making the most of the event.

This amazing event brought together industry leaders, innovators, and advocates to align their organisations around this vitally important topic. The event supported awareness and had a number of outstanding speakers sharing powerful messages to the audience.

In our industry, mental health can be just as important as on-site safety. Working FIFO can be challenging for many, spending days or weeks away from family and loved ones. It's vital we recognise and appreciate the importance of supporting men in this environment, and ensuring their mental health is as well protected as their physical health.

On the job safety doesn't stop at making sure no one gets hurt, we all have a responsibility to support one another and work together to make Australian mining the best it can be.

At Fenner, our vision is closely aligned with Michelin’s All Sustainable strategy: incorporating renewed and recycled materials into conveyor belts by 2030.

Our partnership with Tyrecycle, and the launch of the InfinitySeries belt range, mark the most significant step we’ve taken toward that goal so far.

Based in Kwinana, just a few kilometres from our newly opened Kwinana Mixing Facility, Tyrecycle plays a critical role in closing the loop on our manufacturing processes. This close proximity allows recycled rubber to move efficiently from site, to processing, and back into remanufacture, faster, smarter, and more sustainably.

Together, we’re giving new life to end‑of‑life conveyor belts, bringing them back into the materials stream, from end-of-life, to infinity with the InfinitySeries.
