We want functionality from our hardware, but it doesn't have to be drab. You can have functional hardware that is also beautiful, which not only complements your space but gives it character.

It often stays in place for decades! So you may as well enjoy looking at it and handling it for years to come. Brass hardware is made to last, but expresses its own character as it ages over time.

Simple classic handles can glow with an antique brass patina ( #1) finished by hand in-house. Our range of levers and other door hardware come in a wide range of finishes ( #2) from matte black to polished chrome, from top brands including Tradco, Iver and Hepburn Hardware.

Memory Lane offers high quality brass architectural hardware for your home from the facade ( #3) to the back door. Everything but the kitchen sink (almost).

A light is more than just a light. A single pendants seems like a simple choice, but pendants can set the tone and feel of your space. From simple to ornate, here's some inspo for lighting to suit your space:
- A humble sphere on a plain, elegant rod ( #1) can be the perfect complement to an ornate ceiling rose in your living room
- A pressed glass bowl shade on a clean antique brass rod suspension ( #2) can add to the design features of your entryway while lighting up the space with a warm diffuse glow. Chain suspension works too!
- Draw the eye down your hallway with a several elegant single pendants ( #3) placed sensibly to illuminate the space while creating proportion and balance

We appreciate both the old and new at Memory Lane. Classic and ornate hardware in the right finish for your home can be hard to come by.

You can't achieve an authentic period look with plate brass that doesn't pass the test of time, or do your restoration justice. Solid cast brass in these classic designs is durable, beautiful and perfect for the job.

Here's a selection of beautiful classic door hardware, from ornate solid cast brass k***s ( #1) to antique brass door hardware finished by hand here at Memory Lane ( #2) to our range of classic lighting switches ( #3) to complement your door hardware for a cohesive look.

We're closed today Public Holiday, and open tomorrow 10 am to 2 pm. A slightly shorter Saturday so we can make it home to watch the game!

As a Swans (South Melbourne) / Essendon / Collingwood motley crew, we don't have any skin in tomorrow's game, but we hope it's a great game nonetheless!
