If you are interested in the paranormal but not sure about attending a paranormal investigation, starting out with a ghost tour is the perfect way to dip your toes in! The first of the 2026 Ghost Tours hosted by the Friends of Black Rock House is in just 3 weeks time! There is also an August and September Tour. A costumed guide will take you through the house, into the cellar and out into the stables exploring the history and mysteries tied to Black Rock House. It is after dark guided by the light of a lantern. Most people who attend end up wanting to book on for an investigation! Tickets are $40 and that includes a drink on arrival and tea and coffee at the conclusion. What a great way to spend a Saturday night! Ages 16+

The Friends of Black Rock House are once again hosting their very popular 'Ghost Tour Stories'. These are historical ghost tours delivered by a costumed guide. This is perfect for those who are intrigued by the 'spooky side' of Black Rock House, but don't want to do a paranormal investigation. Your guide will take you on a tour of the house after dark, exploring the history and supernatural tales associated with the house. Venture down into the cellar, tour the stables and walk the halls of Black Rock House after dark.

Arrive at 7pm for pre-tour drinks with the tour commencing at 7:30pm. The tour will conclude at 8:30pm where you can debrief in Tamar's Tearoom with tea and coffee with your fellow guests. These extremely popular tours always sell out so get in quick!

Tickets are $40 each. Ages 16+ There is also an option to purchase a copy of the new Black Rock House book which you can pick up on the night of your tour (August and September Tours only) Just add it to your cart!
