PROJECT REFLECTION | Large Scale Water Treatment Project🙌🏻
In November 2025, Total Piping & Mechanical was awarded a piping package for a large scale water treatment project in Tasmania.
What began as one package evolved into multiple packages across the project, encompassing workshop prefabrication, transport to Tasmania and installation on site.
Over the following 10 months, our Melbourne workshop prefabricated more than 300 tonnes of stainless steel pipework, with our team completing the extensive pre-spooling and fabrication required before each package was transported to site.
The project demonstrates one of TPM’s key strengths, the ability to support large scale projects across both workshop and site, completing significant prefabrication in a controlled workshop environment before mobilising for installation.
From the first package through to the final loads leaving our workshop, it’s been a significant project and a great example of the capability, capacity and experience across the TPM team.
300+ tonnes. Multiple packages. 10 months of prefabrication. One major project delivered from workshop to site.
