After more than 10 years of serving Western Australia, we would like to announce that the West-Trans Equipment Perth branch has officially closed.

While this marks the end of an important chapter for our business, we would like to sincerely thank all of our customers, suppliers, and industry partners who have supported us throughout our time in Perth. We are incredibly grateful for the relationships we've built and the trust you've placed in us over the years.

The good news is that support for our customers in Western Australia will continue. Moving forward, TL Engineering will be responsible for the installation and service of skip loaders and hook lifts throughout WA, while all sales activities for this equipment will continue to be managed by the West-Trans Equipment head office in Mulgrave, NSW.

Our relationship with TL Engineering is not new. Through HMF Australia, we have been working together since 2022, and we are excited to further strengthen this partnership with a company that has built an outstanding reputation in the WA transport industry since 1970.

We are confident that TL Engineering's experience, professionalism, and commitment to customer service will ensure our WA customers continue to receive the high level of support they have come to expect.

Thank you again to everyone who has been part of our journey in Western Australia. We look forward to continuing to support the WA market alongside the team at TL Engineering.

Recently, we had the pleasure of spending the day with Dave Neall and the team at Bin City at their sorting facility in Port Kembla, where we got to see their operation up close and hear how the reliability of West-Trans skip loaders and hook lifts plays a key role in keeping their business moving.

Meet the team - Ric Banno

Ric Banno has been a valued part of the West-Trans Equipment team for decades, bringing with him an incredible amount of hands on knowledge and workshop experience.

Over the years, Ric has worked across all aspects of the workshop floor and has played a major role in the repair and maintenance of countless machines that have come through the workshop. His experience, problem solving ability, and attention to detail have made him a highly respected member of the team.
