UPGRADES AND TUNING ON THE 2024+ CHEV/GMC 6.6 DURAMAX PLATFORM 😈🔥😎

There’s no denying that the Silverado 2500 has quickly become the highest selling Diesel American Truck and we have seen heaps of them rolling through the workshop lately ‼️

Tommy runs us through what we’ve done with this customers Silverado 2500 and how it performed on the Dyno. As Tommy mentions, we are currently limited to completing a Single ECU Remap on these trucks, which means we won’t push them as far as what we can when completing the 5 Map Select Packages.

ANOTHER WORK TRUCK IN FOR A 300HP BUILD!🔥🦾🚜  This early girl was due for a birthday and boy, did she get one!🎉
This 2012 VDJ79 arrived with over 320,000km on it, ready for a makeover. Firstly, we kicked off with one of our in-depth Health Checks, to ensure this vehicle was suitable, both physically and financially, for tuning. 🩺👨🏽‍⚕️  Once the health check was completed, we got stuck into an Intake Manifold Clean, with the addition of a Starter Motor and then onto our Package 3 upgrade!   Our Package 3 is nothing new to the market, keeping on with the brands we know and trust!  ⚡️ Custom ECU Remap ⚡️ NPC 1600NM Clutch Kit ⚡️ Manta Performance 3” Turbo Back Exhaust System ⚡️ Performance Tourers 4x4 Intercooler Fan Kit ⚡️ In-House Fabrication Airbox ⚡️ Safari Armax Snorkel

VERSION 2 OF OUR 4J 5MAP, MASSIVE UPDATES WITH OUR TRANS TUNING AND OUR OWN CUSTOM DATA LOGGER, ALL FOR THE 4JJ3 DMAX, BT50 AND MUX!🤯🔥🥳

Over the last few months, Tommy has been hard at work with his newest investment, the 6-Wheeler! This vehicle has been the development vehicle for our Version 2 of our 4J 5Map.

⚡️VERSION 2 4JJ3 MULTIMAP
Some massive updates have been included in the Version 2 of our 4J 5Map, which now includes map selection changes on fly, via the cruise control switching, additional temperature related safety features as well as new techniques to achieve maximum gains whilst maintaining peak reliability!✅

⚡️CUSTOM TRANSMISSION TUNING
We’ve also made some MASSIVE updates with our Transmission Tuning. Most notably, the day-to-day driving of the transmission is much better than it ever was, with more capabilities of adjustments based on the weight and tyre size you’re running. We’ve also added in a couple of additional features, such as our Torque Converter Lock Up Integration and Cruise Control enabled in Manual Shift Mode.😎

⚡️PERFORMANCE TOURERS DATA LOGGER
Another thing that Tommy has been working tirelessly to set up, is our very own data logger! This allows us to retrieve far more data both before and after tuning to ensure the information that travels between the Engine and Transmission is as accurate as possible! This will allow us to see exactly where we stand before we tune your vehicle and exactly how the vehicle reacts both during and after tuning. 📈

SOMETHING A LITTLE MORE PRACTICAL😎👌🏾

Last week we showed you what our Ramble Idle and Limiter sounds like with a Custom 4” Side Dump and the SAK 44mm Turbo. A lot of people got around it, but it’s not for everyone!

This week, we have the 3” System, which is more common for us. This vehicle is running a cat and muffler in this exhaust and is still using the standard turbo, meaning it has a little bit more of a whistle compared to a gated turbo set up on idle.👂🏼🔊

This is the perfect option for someone who is trying to keep things a bit more discreet. It’ll keep the cab noise to a minimum and doesn’t droan whilst you’re out on the highway!🤫
