🎉 Happy May BBQ Day to the Allweld crew!

Today we fired up the grill and took a moment to celebrate the team that makes everything happen here at Allweld Manufacturing. These days are important to us — because behind every build, every weld, and every vehicle that rolls out of our doors is a team of hardworking, dedicated people who show up and give their best every single day.

We had a very special moment today too. Craig and the team from Sherwin Williams came out to personally present our paint team with brand new team shirts. 🎽

To Craig and everyone at Sherwin Williams — thank you. The relationship we've built with you goes well beyond supply and delivery. You've been a genuine partner to our business, and gestures like this mean more than you know. We are truly grateful to have you in our corner.

We couldn't be more proud of this crew. There's something special about watching the next generation of tradespeople step up and get stuck in, bringing that hunger to learn and the determination to do it right.

At Allweld, our apprentices aren't just the future of this business, they're the future of Australian manufacturing. And judging by the look on their faces, they mean business with a TradeTools voucher on the line! 🏆

🏆 INTRODUCING THE ALLWELD APPRENTICE WELDER CHALLENGE!

We are beyond proud to announce the launch of our brand new fortnightly Apprentice Welder Challenge here at Allweld Manufacturing!

Every two weeks, our apprentices will step up, show their skills, and compete for the title — and we couldn't think of a better way to kick things off than by celebrating our very first winner.

🎉 Congratulations to ELI — the Allweld Apprentice Welder Challenge champion!

This challenge is all about celebrating our apprentices, pushing the boundaries of what they can achieve, and investing in the tradespeople who will carry this industry forward. Watching our team grow and develop is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do here.

Allweld Manufacturing is looking forward to supporting Pathway Career Conversations, speaking with Year 10 students about traineeships, training and apprenticeship pathways.
Thanks to the organisers for putting these sessions together, and to the other presenters for contributing to meaningful career conversations.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in Women Who CNC — it was a fantastic couple of days hosting students at Allweld and giving them a real look at what modern manufacturing looks like in practice.
The girls got hands-on with:
CNC cutting
Folding steel on the CNC press brake (jewellery tree project)
A robotic coding challenge — including writing code for the letter “H”

It was great to see how engaged they were, and even better to have a few students asking about work experience and pathways into manufacturing.

A big thank you to our team for taking the time to show the girls the ins and outs of CNC operation and programming.

Special thanks to Ricky for cooking up a storm on the Metalcorp BBQ and donating the steel for the jewellery tree — and to Levi and Erin from Queensland Manufacturing Institute (QMI) for putting the program together.
