Fire season officially commences the 1st of October all fires will require a permit and the appropriate notification channels to fire control and your adjoining neighbours need to followed as we are in for a bumper season.
Now is a good time to ensure your property is bush fire safe and a fire plan in place.

So very thankful for some rain tonight at the Medowie /Oyster Cove fires, we were stood down and returned to station at 10pm.
So many burnt out trees but this 1 was something that just had to be tagged, taped and recorded as theres not much holding that big fella up.

Unfortunately we have had to cancel the Santa Run due to extreme weather conditions and crews being deployed to an incident,
We apologise for any inconvenience but we are hoping to get Santa back 1 afternoon early this week, please keep an eye on the page for an update.

Martins Creek will be hosting Santas yearly visit to the station this coming Sunday the 21st, we will be leaving the station at 4pm and heading as far as Parishes Road Hilldale and then back to Merchants road, View street Vacy, Blackrock road, Martins Creek road then into Brisbane Grove road, you’ll hear him coming as he’s told us he’s going to be loud this year.
