Engine block bolts don't get a second chance ⚡ These are running at Grade 10.9 or 12.9 for good reason — massive clamping force, constant heat cycling, and vibration that never really stops while the engine's running.

A standard bolt in that spot won't just underperform, it'll stretch, lose torque, and eventually let go somewhere you really don't want it to. This is one application where cutting corners on grade isn't worth the risk 🔩

Grade matters more than most people think, right up until it doesn't ⚡ It's easy to grab whatever bolt fits and assume they're all more or less the same. They're not.
The difference between a standard bolt and a properly rated high tensile one usually only shows up under real load — and by then it's too late to do much about it. Get it right the first time, and you won't have to think about it again 🔑

But underneath all that grime, it's worth asking the question that actually matters — is what's holding the wheel on rated for the punishment you're putting it through? Corrugations and creek crossings don't care how tough your tyres look if the hardware behind them is second-rate 🔹
