Mannum CFS

Mannum CFS The Mannum CFS is a volunteer organisation that professionally protects our communities for life, servicing Mannum and the surrounding districts.

Established in 1946, the Mannum Country Fire Service has a long history of protecting the Mannum and greater community. Located on Walker Avenue, the Mannum CFS Station houses two specialised fire fighting appliances. Mannum 34P is fitted with specialist equipment such as Compressed Air Breathing Apparatus equipment used primarily in structure fire fighting, and Road Crash Rescue equipment used in

vehicle accidents. Mannum 24 is designed to be a light and agile rural fire fighting truck to be driven in the changing Mannum and district terrain. From the steep inclines of the Mount Lofty Ranges, the overhanging branches and narrow tracks of scrub scattered across the region, to the clay ground of dry lagoons. Our dedicated volunteers will be there for you rain, hail, or shine, 24 hours a day, 365(6) days a year.

WINNERS πŸ₯‡πŸŽ‰

Today our cadets travelled to Swan Reach to compete in the third biannual Region 3 Cadet Championships!

Throughout the day, our team competed in various drills against other cadets from across the Region and came away as the overall championship winners, including individual winners in the knapsack and hose drill events πŸ§‘πŸ»β€πŸš’

To say we are proud would be an understatement. Congratulations to all other teams who competed, we can’t wait to do it all again in 2027!

Over the last few weeks, our members have undertaken training to ensure we are familiar with the enhanced equipment on board, which will be beneficial to our team when assisting the local community.

Give us a wave if you see us around town, or better yet send us a message and see how you could become a volunteer πŸ‘‹πŸ»
