A quick note to Mariners: Advanced forecasting is showing wind increasing to a Gale late in the week 16th Feb to 23rd Feb. If you have a vessel on a mooring please ensure that it is properly secured and that all sails are properly stowed/furled and secured. Ensure you have had your mooring inspected in the last 12 months and that you have redundant positions that secure your mooring lines to the deck. If your mooring includes a rope compnent ,remove anchors from the bow to reduce the likelihood of chafing and ensure that the mooring line is secured in the bow roller.
