Spray weld and machining repairs carried out on the end face of a Cat C175 block due to corrosion and wear in the sealing area.
The surface was built up using spray welding, then machined and blended back to a flat, serviceable finish.

This job was completed by Winton, our 3rd-year apprentice, who took it on from start to finish and demonstrated excellent skill and initiative. A result the whole workshop can be proud of.

What an incredible afternoon!

We had over 60 apprentices and tradesmen come through our doors yesterday—it was fantastic to see so many people not only turn up, but genuinely enjoy the experience.

Spray welding was definitely the highlight for most!

Thanks to everyone for your support—we really appreciate it and hope to see you at the next event.
