🏁 Great to welcome the Glencore Apprentice Race Car Roadshow to JET Group!

We are proud to support the program by sponsoring the painting of the three fibreglass race-car shells in preparation for the upcoming Notta Grand Prix.

It was great to see the completed cars back at our workshop and meet the apprentices involved. We had the opportunity to chat with apprentices across a range of trades, including diesel fitters, electricians, boilermakers, auto electricians, and fitters and turners.

It is important to Jet Group to support the next generation of tradespeople and programs that give apprentices the opportunity to develop their skills, work together and put their training into practice.

A special mention to Jarryd Townson, who has done a great job coordinating the project behind the scenes and bringing the apprentices and sponsors together.

Good luck to everyone involved when the cars hit the track at the Glencore Apprentice Notta Grand Prix on 16 October! 🏎️

Blast & Paint In-House at Jet Group
From fabrication through to the final finish, we can manage the whole job in-house.
Our blast and paint facilities support both new fabrication and repaired or refurbished equipment, with abrasive blasting, surface preparation and industrial painting all done right here in our workshop.

The Mini Face Bolter is a project our Jet Group team is particularly proud to have helped bring to life.

Projects like this don't start with a catalogue or an off-the-shelf product. They start with a problem, collaboration and a willingness to look at whether there is a better way of doing the job.

For our team, seeing the finished machine operating successfully is rewarding enough. Seeing Aquila Mine and the Mini Face Bolter now recognised as a Safety Innovation Award finalist makes it even better. 🏆
