2MT Mining Products is looking for someone with solid mining experience to step into Perth-based Product Support role supporting customers across WA mining regions.

You’ll still be in the industry. You’ll still work with mine sites and heavy equipment. But instead of being on the tools full-time, you’ll use that experience to support customers, monitor product performance and manage your own territory.

The role suits someone with 5+ years’ mining experience and strong heavy mobile mining equipment knowledge, with a trade or mechanical engineering background desirable.

And yes, there is still travel involved, but Perth is home base.

Out on a central Qld mine with Coxy, carrying out a rigging inspection.

It’s the hands-on side of 2MT’s support, getting eyes on the equipment, checking condition and wear, and identifying anything that needs attention.

Regular inspections give maintenance teams a clearer picture of how components are performing in service and help inform what needs to be planned for next.

Supplying the rigging is only one part of the job. Supporting it in the field matters too.

The part is only the start.

What happens in the field doesn’t stay in the field.

Wear patterns, application conditions and customer feedback can all provide valuable information about how a product is performing.

With in-house engineering capability including 3D scanning, design and drafting, finite element analysis and ongoing product development, 2MT can take those learnings back into the engineering process.

Because if the next iteration can perform better, that’s worth investigating.
