We finished 2025 by coming together with our entire Becker Sunner team and their families to celebrate. It was a chance to slow down, enjoy some end-of-year festivities, and reflect on the year that was.

As we head into the Christmas break, our office will be closed over the holiday period, reopening on 12 January 2026. A small number of team members will be returning earlier to ensure project commitments continue to be supported, and we so appreciate their willingness to support our projects and Clients in that way.

Before signing off for the year, we want to wish our clients, collaborators and industry peers a very Merry Christmas and a safe, relaxing break.

Thank you to everyone who placed their trust in us this year. We’re looking forward to the year ahead and working together again soon.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Design and analyse structures (steel, concrete, timber)
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and fellow engineers
Lead design projects from concept to construction
Conduct site visits and structural assessments
Use tools like Revit, AutoCAD, ETABS, Space Gass, etc

WHAT YOU BRING:
Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
Licensed or on track for RPEQ
2 to 20+ years of experience in structural design
Strong technical and communication skills
A passion for solving complex engineering challenges

Our Christmas spirit was on display this weekend. The whole team and their families were treated to a most enjoyable session at ArtHaus by Kylie Ferriday for our end of year Christmas celebrations. Starting out with a ‘draw your colleague’ challenge, while nibbling some delicious food and sipping drinks of our choice, we wound up producing watercolour masterpieces that some of us even plan on framing for the walls. A trivia-based Secret Santa finished the day with some laughter and thievery and even the self-proclaimed ‘un-artistic’ among us produced a gorgeous piece.

Kylie’s expert tuition was welcoming, funny, and informative and everyone walked away with a smile on their face and a treat box or two from generous colleagues.
