Project Details:
Location: Mackay (Hay Point Coal Terminal)
Commencement: Mid August 2025
Duration: Approx: 3 months (5/5/5 Day, Night, RNR) roster
Accommodation: Residential or accommodation provided.
Roster: Competitive renumeration with overtime available (12hr Shifts)

We are currently seeking the following roles:

⚙️Mechanical Fitters – Shutdown and plant maintenance experience required

⚙️Boilermakers - Shutdown and structural remediation experience required

⚙️Trade qualified Intermediate Riggers would be preferred – HRWL, shutdown rigging and structural support experience


✅Mandatory Requirements:✅

- BMA Core induction or willing to obtain.

- current coal board medical Health assessment or willing to obtain.

- Trade qualification or high-risk work license (as relevant to role)

- White Card (Construction Induction)
Confined Space and Working at Heights (within 2 years)

- Demonstrated experience in heavy industry as per roles descriptions above with 2x prior work references

- Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening

- Full Australian working rights

We are looking for personnel with proven experience in turbine work, valve overhauls, rigging, and crane experience preferred

Accommodation: Camp provided nearby

⚙️ Mechanical Fitters

Requirements:
- Must be self driven, autonomous working environments and as part of a team from time to time.
- ability to work away throughout the Bowen basin coal mines & occasionally interstate.
- Relavant Qualifications with Australian working rights.
- Standard 11
- Coal Board Medical
- Drivers Licence - Open MR class preferred or willing to obtain.
- 3+ years Experienice in relevant trade within the mining or heavy industry.
Open to new industry applicants also.

The Following tickets and competencies are highly advantageous to applicants:
- WAH, Confined space, Gas test monitoring,
HRWL Forklift, EWP, OHC, basic rigging, Do***ng.

Recently assisted with a valued clients Marion 8750 Dragline outage.
Tasked to carry out line boring of two new final drive pinion gear cassettes and pedestal lugs to suit new pins.

Quick turnaround on this one Requiring the assistance of A-JAE Line boring and Rafiq Site Services.

Primary shut down company carried out mobilisation and removal of final drive pinions & re assembly of new final drive pinions.
For us Carry out Line boring on Pos 3 & 4 pedestal lugs & cassettes. All completed in 5x shifts.
