Holmwood was originally founded in the Mid 1950’s to repair, service and maintain fuel tankers of American origin used in the Korean war and subsequently sold off for use in Australia. As the welding of light alloys was unheard of locally, the company imported the first aluminium welding equipment associated technology into Australia. From these beginnings, Holmwood Highgate has grown to become a

much respected name in the bulk liquid transport industry with a reputation for the very reliable equipment.

Given the current market conditions with increased fuel prices and general unavailability, we have decided to release our new and improved ‘mini barrel’ configuration to help our clients with their logistics needs.

This brand-new unit carries the same amount of fuel value per dollar as previous larger models did before the war, whilst also reducing fuel cost of the prime mover by reducing the weight for transport.
