Operating around the clock, the building has been carefully planned to support rapid response, operational efficiency and staff wellbeing, creating a contemporary home for critical services in Tasmania.

Project Highlight | Launceston Health Hub

Designed as more than just a healthcare facility, Stage 5 of the Launceston Health Hub was created to support connection, clarity and wellbeing through architecture.

The building brings together healthcare, community and movement within a carefully considered civic space at the corner of Wellington and Cleveland Streets. Natural light, warm materials and adaptable spaces work together to create an environment that feels calm and welcoming.

From the coloured façade inspired by abstract DNA sequences to the light-filled internal courtyard, every detail was designed to contribute to the experience of care – not just the function of it.

This project reflects 6ty°’s integrated approach across architecture, engineering, surveying and planning, helping shape environments that support the Tasmania we call home.

DELC Legana | Project Update

Construction is progressing well on the DELC childcare centre in Legana, with the building now taking shape and key architectural elements becoming more defined.

The circular layout and central spine are beginning to come to life, reinforcing the sense of connection between learning spaces and outdoor environments. The tent-like roof form is also emerging, bringing with it natural light, ventilation and a clear identity for the space.

As materials and structure come together, the intent behind the design is becoming more visible – a calm, grounded environment designed to support early learning, interaction and wellbeing.

We’re proud to be delivering this project through the full integration of 6ty° services – working together to shape spaces for the next generation.
