A recently completed job this week to get a bearing block refurbished and to modify a standard 6 spline pto shaft to fit. New seals and bearings were installed, the drive plate was re attached and machined true and a threaded boss was made and welded to the 6 spline pto shaft to screw on to the original shaft.

A couple of small jobs this week, firstly a threaded shaft off a vac truck that has rollers to roll the suction hose up and down off the back. Second a tow bar off a ride on mower which came in to be modified to take a standard towball instead of a pin.

I have been sponsoring the T22 street stock and shed cat racing team this season and it has been great fun. Lots of time and effort goes into these cars over the year and it was great to be a part of the action in and out of the pits with maintenance and repairs.

Yesterday I had the opportunity to not only be passenger but take the T22 car out on the track and drive it myself.

I look forward to sponsoring and working with these guys for a bigger and better season later this year.

The last few days have been flat out in the workshop preparing the Shed Cat Racing T22 street stock for the Australian titles this weekend at Latrobe Speedway. We started off with a gearbox change and a new gearbox mount then new panels and stickers to 80% of the car. Lastly we fabricated a tyre rack for the trailer to make life just that little bit easier.

Good luck to T22 Sharla Scott and all other competitors this weekend.

Last week we machined some tractor pins to suit some different attachments aswell as some bushings to remove the play in some worn out attachments. We also made some new axles and collars to suit different wheel bearings on a hay rake.
