Men’s Health Week 2026 | 15–21 June

This Men’s Health Week, BridgePro is encouraging our team, industry and wider community to prioritise their health and wellbeing.

If you’ve been putting off a GP appointment, health check, skin check or mental health conversation — now is the time to book it.

Looking after your health is just as important as looking after safety on site.

For men aged 45–49, you may also be eligible for a Medicare-funded preventative health assessment through your GP. These assessments can help identify potential health risks early and support long-term wellbeing.

To find out if you’re eligible, contact your GP clinic and ask about the 45–49 Year Old Health Assessment.

Don’t wait until something becomes serious — early conversations and early checks make a difference.

A great night on Saturday attending the JCP Youth BEAST event as a key sponsor alongside so many passionate people supporting young people in our community.

It was inspiring to hear from keynote speaker Will Smith OAM and learn more about the incredible impact JCP Youth continues to make across Tasmania.

BridgePro Engineering is proud to support organisations that create opportunities, connection and positive outcomes for young people across our region.

Thank you to the JCP Youth team for hosting such a fantastic evening. 👏

Ten years ago this week, the floodwaters came.

In June 2016, the Mersey River and Kings Creek broke their banks and swept through the heart of Latrobe. Homes were inundated, farms were lost, and sadly three members of our Latrobe community never came home.

A decade on, we remember them. 🤍

Latrobe is where BridgePro began. These are our streets and our neighbours, the creek where platypus still glide at dusk. So when Latrobe Council entrusted us to build the town's flood protection, it was never just another job.

The original design would have run concrete walls through the centre of town - protecting Latrobe, but cutting it off from the very creek that gives it life. We couldn't accept that. So we worked shoulder to shoulder with the Council, the designers and our own engineers to find a better way: redirecting the floodwaters away from the town centre, protecting 40% more CBD land, and keeping Latrobe connected to its creek and its beloved platypus - all built to stand against a one-in-100-year flood, even as the rains grow heavier.

What does that mean for Latrobe? Families who no longer watch the sky and wonder if tonight the water reaches the door. New land for homes, in a state crying out for it. A town that can keep growing, safely, well into the future.

We were honoured to see the project named Engineers Australia's 2024 Tasmanian Project of the Year, and the 2024 Civil Contractors Federation - Tasmania Project of the Year in the $10-$30m category - but the recognition that matters most is a town that sleeps a little easier when it rains.

That's the truth at the heart of everything we do. We don't just build things. We build the bridges, the wharves, foundations and the infrastructure that keep communities safe, connected and prospering long after the trucks have left and the high-vis is packed away. The Latrobe levee is one of those things. So is every project we take on.

Constructing for Future Generations. We always will. 💙

One year since the Bridgewater Bridge opened - and what a year it’s been.
Premier Jeremy Rockliff is right to celebrate it. Over 1,000 workers helped build that bridge, and the 120 strong BridgePro team were among them. We’re proud of everything we contributed: the temporary bridge, the pile cages, the precast pile caps, and most visibly - all 42 concrete piers standing in the Derwent today.
The largest of those piers is 17 metres tall. Each was cast in a single pour. Our team designed and built the custom forming systems that made that possible.
It’s not a bad thing to have your work standing in a river, visible from the highway, and serving Tasmanians for the next 100+years.

A happy 1st birthday for the new Bridgewater Bridge!

What a fantastic weekend celebrating our BridgePro team at Country Club Tasmania for our fourth annual Five Years Plus Service Celebration. 🎉

This year we welcomed nine new inductees into our Five Years Plus group and recognised several team members approaching an incredible ten years with the business.

Today, more than a third of our workforce has been with BridgePro for five years or more - something we are extremely proud of and a reflection of the culture we've built together.

The weekend was a great opportunity to enjoy some time away from work, catch up with colleagues, celebrate achievements and recognise the people who have helped make BridgePro what it is today.

A huge thank you to everyone who has been part of the journey. Your hard work, dedication and commitment continue to make a difference every day.

Congratulations to all those recognised and thank you for everything you do.
