Some of our foundations team were in Sydney for the joint conference between Deep Foundations Institute (DFI) and the Piling and Foundation Specialists Federation (PFSF) and they came back sharp.

Aaron Brimfield, Jarrod Thomas and Anthony van Eysden have spent the last two days in Brisbane at the Future of Construction Conference, hearing about where construction is heading, the role of AI, and the changes coming across our industry.

It was a great chance to learn, compare notes and reinforce the direction BridgePro is already moving in.

We have been working hard on better systems, smarter workflows, engineering-led delivery and practical ways to use technology to improve how we work. The conference was a strong reminder that this journey matters, and that the future of construction will belong to businesses that keep learning, improving and adapting.

At BridgePro, we are excited to keep building on the work already underway - for our people, our clients and the projects we deliver.

Investing in our people is investing in the future of BridgePro Engineering.

Last week members of our team participated in the EPIC Elevate Leadership Program in Launceston, a practical, hands-on program designed specifically for the construction industry to strengthen leadership capability, communication and confidence in real-world situations.

Across two days, the team stepped outside their comfort zones, tackled practical leadership challenges, developed 90-day action plans and strengthened the skills needed to lead both on site and within our teams.

Congratulations to everyone who completed the program. We’re proud to continue building not only stronger projects, but stronger people.

Wednesday night, the TAS SES - Mersey Unit conducted rescue training exercises at our facility.

The crews undertook two rescue scenarios using air bags to lift a slab and free a trapped casualty, and high-lift jacks to rescue a casualty positioned beneath the old boom section of the 50T SANY.

Following the first exercise, the two crews swapped scenarios, with each team applying different rescue methods and approaches to successfully complete the exercises.

A great night of practical training, teamwork and problem solving.
