We were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Max Gamble.
Max was a long-time customer and dear friend for more than 50 years. He was always tinkering away, helping others keep their historic cars running and presented at their very best.

Max was always up for a chat, and over the years shared some truly incredible stories. He knew Bill Bressington from the early days of working on and enjoying SU-powered cars together.

We would like to extend our sincere condolences to Max’s family and loved ones during this difficult time.

Godspeed, Max.

With many classic cars heading into hibernation over the cooler months, now is the ideal time to check over your fuel system — especially your fuel pump.

If your car runs an SU carburettor, we strongly recommend fitting a Genuine SU fuel pump. Why?

• Period-correct appearance
• Accurate fuel pressures — which is absolutely critical
• Still manufactured in the UK to the same exacting standards as the originals
• Available in both traditional points style or modern electronic versions

While you’re at it, it’s also worth checking your fuel filter (if fitted), as sediment and rust from older fuel tanks can often cause issues.
