Fabricated some new side steps for the 37 dodge. Used what was left of the originals to make the paper pattern which was used to transfer the information to a flat piece of sheet metal.
The steel was pre stretched on the swage lines using the little English wheel before beadrolling the panel.
The edges were then folded and tipped over using the beadroller and the corners were welded up.

Rust repaired the front corners on the 37 dodge.
Both the inner and outer pieces were pretty rotten so we made new sheet metal using the beadroller and English wheel. They’re all sealed up now and we’re ready to tackle the next piece.
