A while ago we modified this existing nose piece to work with Rex’s Chev.

It was good to see it painted and driving at The Ramones Picnic recently.

All welded!

We folded up a new inner structure as well using the Hare & Forbes Machineryhouse magnetic folder. It was then plug welded to the new other skin.

We fabricated a new lower window piece for Craig’s Navara to allow for the glass to be flush fit.

We started with a test strip go work out the side profile required and then copied that across to the full length piece. The Hare & Forbes Machineryhouse folders made the process nice and easy.
The corners were then made and Tig welded into place.

Soon we will show the process of welding it all in.

Matt finished the main body of the exhaust for Glenn’s courier. Since this lays chassis, it couldn’t protrude below. Soon it will be dismantled and painted.

The Hare & Forbes Machineryhouse jig table was quite useful in setting it all up.

The 37 Dodge is sealed up almost back together after the majority of the lower half of the car was replaced. Flick through to see how rusty this was.
The Hare & Forbes Machineryhouse sand blasting cabinet got a workout, cleaning up the parts in preparation for paint.

Matt sealed up the underside in KBS Coatings Australia rust seal and textured TXT liner from Car Builders, he also painted the underside of the boot and firewall in body colour.

It’s almost ready to go back to its owner where it will see final paint and assembly. It was great to be a part of bringing this 37 Dodge back to life.

80 Series Landcruiser fan shroud we made to suit a 6bt engine conversion. The lower section of the shroud is removable to allow ease of installation to the vehicle.

Craig's D22 Nav came in for some rework and to continue the build after previously being started elsewhere. It came to us unfinished and needing a few changes to improve the geometry, so the chassis has since been cut apart, rewelded and straightened.

The rear tube section above the fuel cell will also double as the fuel cell straps, so those sections will be made removable.

These battery trays hinge down under the tub of Glenn’s courier to make replacing the battery a straight forward exercise.

Isuzu Dmax cab mount we modified to clear larger tyres. Internally fish plated and weld tested for Vass Engineering.
