Job Opportunity: Service & Installation Technician (Full-Time)
Gippsland Dairy Professionals is a leading dairy building and installation company with over 25 years of experience. We service the South Gippsland region, from Phillip Island to Yarram, and we are currently looking to expand our team by hiring a dedicated, Full-Time Service & Installation Technician.
The Role
This is a diverse, hands-on role involving the installation and maintenance of critical dairy infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:
โข Installing and servicing robotic and conventional milking plants and machinery.
โข Installation and maintenance of automated feed systems and steel fabrication.
โข Participating in an on-call roster to provide essential 24-hour breakdown support to our farming clients.
Qualifications & Experience
While we value experience and a "can-do" attitude, we are looking for the following:
โข Trade Qualifications: An existing trade qualification in Fitting and Turning, Boilermaking, or Plumbing is highly advantageous, though not essential.
โข Background: A farming background is considered an advantage but is not required.
โข Skills: You must be a motivated team player with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think ahead in a fast-paced environment.
